MMI gives an opportunity to everyone to showcase their talents, from singing and dancing, to reciting poetry and sharing jokes, there is something for everyone. Performers that would not otherwise be afforded a chance, need not worry at MMI as the anthem you hear repeatedly promotes Equality and Diversity.

What better way to relax and enjoy yourself while nibbling on delicious snacks donated by our volunteers who simply love to share. From home-made savoury snacks to mouth watering cakes, as well as hot and cold drinks offered to all, a truly homely atmosphere is created.

A weekly get together for those who appreciate the family friendly environment that MMI provides. We love welcoming people from all walks of life, regardless of race, religion, age, marital status or disability. Supporting budding singers and artists, MMI is pleased to host local talent. Come along and enjoy a fun filled, relaxing time in a strictly non-judgemental environment.

MMI has built up a reputation of sincerity and caring through their actions over the years. Their unconditional and selfless gestures go a very long way. Appreciating and cheering people on to help their confidence grow and build their self esteem makes MMI unique in the services it offers. They are constantly going the extra mile and caring without expecting anything back.

MMI rejoices in joining with multi faiths and cultures to celebrate festivals from Christmas, Eid, Diwali, Holi, Navratri and other special festivities. A chance to dress up, learn about the customs and traditions of other cultures promotes tolerance and understanding and is a positive contribution to the community.

Having a bad time recently and feeling blue? Leave your worries behind and meet like-minded people that are more than happy to lend a friendly ear. Offer and receive mutual support from people that go the extra mile to ensure that you leave with a smile on your face.

It is not unusual to join in birthday parties, celebrations and anniversaries at MMI. What better way to share your special day or the special day of a loved one, with a personal special touch, in a jovial atmosphere with endless entertainment, music, dance and laughter.

There is a whole new world outside the window! People from all walks of life meet others on a professional, social or personal level to have a chat and expand their social circle. A great way to increase your confidence and open up windows of opportunity over a nice cuppa! With MMI’s growing pool of service users and volunteers, there is a chance to meet new and interesting people to combat isolation.

MMI recognises that sadness and loss are inevitable in life. This is where the MMI family join together to offer extra support and compassion to help people through the most difficult part of their lives where they have lost a loved one.
